Education is central to Tamadun Association’s mission to empower children, youth and promote social cohesion. In areas where formal education is inaccessible or interrupted—particularly for marginalized youth—Tamadun provides structured non-formal education (NFE) programs that bridge learning gaps and promote personal development. These programs include literacy, numeracy, language support, and life skills curricula tailored to the age and background of learners. We create safe and inclusive learning environments where children and youth can re-engage with education and build self-confidence. Trained facilitators use participatory methods and psychosocial support to ensure a holistic approach that addresses both academic and emotional needs. The programs also aim to reduce school dropout rates, especially among girls and children with disabilities, by addressing barriers such as poverty, caregiving roles, and mobility constraints. In addition, Tamadun engages families, teachers and communities to increase awareness of the value of education and to promote long-term educational participation for all.
